The Creative Journey
My journey as a writer began long before I attended film school. Growing up, storytelling became a way to understand a world that often felt confusing and isolating. After being forced to rebuild my own identity, I discovered my purpose in creating stories about people society too often overlooks. Today, I write historical dramas, science fiction, and contemporary stories that explore identity, faith, found family, and resilience.
Character & World
I’m drawn to characters navigating worlds that weren’t built with them in mind. From 1907 New York to present-day Uganda to futures shaped by memory, my stories explore how people survive systems, families, and expectations that try to define them. At their center is the same question: what happens when someone finally chooses to define themselves?
